Best wishes with The Leanne Fund cards

Updated: Nov 6, 2023

With just over six weeks until Christmas Day, it is time to get those cards in the post and this year The Leanne Fund has that job sorted with the launch of their Christmas card sets. The cards are in packs of four different designs, including one in Gaelic, and are available to order from the Fund’s online shop. Chrisetta Mitchell, Development Manager for The Leanne Fund said: “We are delighted that our cards are now on sale and are ready to buy through our online shop. They will also be available at our fundraising events throughout November and December. Our 2023 calendars will also be available soon, so keep a look out.

“All funds from card sales will go towards our services supporting individuals and their families affected by Cystic Fibrosis. “This year we marked the charity’s 12th anniversary, and it has been a busy year of expansion as we continued to develop our range of support services across Scotland. “2022 also saw a welcome return to in-person fundraising and our Point 5k and family fun run was a great success." From its base in Stornoway, the charity now offers services across the Highlands and Islands, Moray, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, the Northern Isles and Tayside – taking services coast to coast across Scotland currently supporting approximately 250 individuals and their families. The Leanne Fund was founded by the family of the late Leanne Mitchell to give real and practical help to those affected by CF. The Fund is the only Cystic Fibrosis support organisation offering a unique range of services, meeting individuals and families at their point of need.
