The Leanne Fund welcomes New Team Member

The Leanne Fund has started 2022 with the addition of a new team member.

Eileen Macleod from Back, has joined the Fund on a six-month funded placement which is run in partnership with Comhairle nan Eilean Siar.

Chrisetta Mitchell, Development Manager for The Leanne Fund, said: “We’re delighted to have secured a placement through the Employability Scheme and Eileen will be a huge asset to the organisation as we look to grow our online presence and reach more individuals affected by CF.”

Eileen said: “I couldn’t have asked for a better start to the year.

“I am thrilled to have been offered a placement with The Leanne Fund and could not have wished for a warmer welcome to the team.”

Eileen will take on the six-month post focusing on social media and marketing.

As the Fund develops additional services and expands to more regions across Scotland, this aspect of the charity is an area which they are keen to enhance.

The Scottish Government’s Long Term Unemployment programme is delivered by Comhairle nan Eilean Siar. The programme supports individuals over the age of 25 who have been unemployed for more than 12 months
