The Good News Club have planned another Silent Prayer Walk to take place on Friday 6 May 2011.

We have decided to do this again for The Leanne Fund in memory of our dear leader Leanne, who sadly passed away in 2009, which has affected us all as Leaders and as children, and to in some way remind us all of the inspiration that Leanne was to many at the Club.  Another reason is after this year a lot of the children that knew Leanne will be leaving Club and we wanted them to have one last opportunity to raise money with us for such a worthwhile cause.

This year the walk will leave from the APC Church and go around the town area, finishing back at the church - nothing too long for the younger children!  The children from both Clubs will come together that evening to take part in the walk.

Last year the children raised the staggering amount of £1439.55 and as Leaders we cannot thank everyone enough for their support of the event and the work of the Club.
