A massive ‘thank you’ to everyone who helped to make the Bag Pack such a huge success.  Thank you to all who gave of their time and to all who donated.  We are especially grateful to the Management and Staff of the Co-operative Superstore for their support of the event.

An incredible £930 was raised on the day.

A visit to any supermarket is usually met by men as an experience that should be missed, however in showing their support for The Leanne Fund a number of men from within the Construction, Civil Engineering and Utility services industries have readily agreed to go bag packing in the Co-op on Macaulay Road on Saturday the 18th September between 11am and 6pm.

The Companies that have shown support are Duncan Mackay and Sons, Scottish Water, CNES, FMP.

An experience that men usually assume that women will do, The Leanne Fund hopes that all women on the island, who visit for their weekly groceries, will enjoy seeing the ‘tables turned’.
