Congratulations to Willie Mitchell, pictured below left after completing the 10k within his target time, to finish in a very respectable 57:36 minutes. Well done Willie!

Willie raised an amazing £675 and is seen here presenting the cheque to Donna Parkes, Trustee of the Fund.

Hi, I’m Willie Mitchell and I plan to run this year’s Baker Hughes 10k in memory of my sister Leanne and to raise money for The Leanne Fund.

I think the Fund is a fantastic idea and it is really great that young people with cystic fibrosis are being given the opportunity to get funding towards things which will improve their quality of life.

I joined Jog Scotland last October and run with Rosemount Running Club once a week. My goal will be to finish the 10k within the hour
