'The Leanne Fund' was set up in 2009 in memory of Leanne Mitchell.

Leanne was an incredibly special young woman, adored by her family and all who knew her.  Leanne had an incredible strength and determination to live life to the full, making the most of every precious moment.  Leanne’s life was inspirational and this fund represents Leanne’s heartfelt desire to bring happiness to other people’s lives.

The fund, is open to all young people (up to 25 years) with Cystic Fibrosis in the Highlands and Western Isles area of Scotland.

The fund will be used to provide non-medical treats – things that would not normally be provided on the National Health Service (NHS).  Some examples may include: - driving lessons, holidays, weekend breaks, concert tickets, activity days etc.

It is hoped that the fund will provide a unique opportunity for young people with CF to treat themselves to something special or to do something really special – a chance to create happy memories.

Your support will help to fulfil Leanne’s wish to make a difference in the lives of young people with CF.

While monetary donations are essential, donations in kind, whether services, goods or time will be equally appreciated.
